You have many options to create your personalized team website. The website creation wizard will walk you step-by-step through creating the individual sections of your site.
You don't need to create your website from scratch. We have designed several templates to help get you started. These templates can be customized with your own colors, images and more! Each template option features a screenshot of the layout. Click on the different color swatch squares to view the templates with the selected color applied. Select the template of your choice by clicking on the radio button next to the color swatch and then click on "SELECT AND GO TO STEP 2".
The following steps will walk you through creating the various sections of your website. Notice the menu index on the left side of the screen. This index lists all of the sections of the site to be created, and will be "checked off" once that section is completed. You can go back to any section and perform additional edits at any time simply by clicking on the applicable link.
As you create your website, you can view the site's progress in real time by clicking on "VIEW YOUR SITE PROGRESS".
Now, let's explore each section of your new website!
Step 1: Enter your team name, or the title you would like to appear on your website. This title will be prominently displayed in the header of your site.
Step 2: Enter some introductory information about your team. This information will be placed on the home page of your website.
Step 3: Upload an image to be used as the main image on your home page.
Step 4: Provide additional information about your team, such as Team Sport, League, Age Level and Location.
In this step, you can enter team news stories you would like include on the website. You can also upload photos to accompany your news items. The latest news story you have added will be shown under the "Featured News" section on the home page. All additional new stories are found in the "Team News" section of the website. Five news stories will be displayed per page, and news stories will be listed on the site until they are deleted from the news story database.
In this step, you can enter your team schedule, as well as any important team events. Enter and manage event information to be included on your website calendar. You can enter both single and recurring events. Recurring events can be entered as weekly, monthly or yearly, and will automatically be populated across the calendar at the selected intervals.
Each event will also featured a real-time map with driving directions and additional location information.
In this step, you can create a Team Roster. You can add athletes, parents, coaches and other important team contact information. No need to worry about including sensitive personal information on the website, as you will also have the option to password protect any or all sections of the website when you complete the site creation steps.
In this step, you can upload any additional files that you would like to allow your team members to access or download. The files can include documents, spreadsheets, PDF's, presentations, downloadable applications, etc.
In this step, you can upload photos and other media files - such as audio and video - that you would like to allow your team members to access or download. Create individual galleries based on specific topics to group applicable materials together. Dynamic image presentations and slideshows will allow you to share all of your team photos in an impressive format.
In this step, you will enter your Coaching Staff contact information. Your website will also feature a web-based contact form that will be forwarded directly to a designated email address. Enter the email address you would like to receive form submissions at below, and this feature will be activated on your website.
